Training Course "Creating an Inclusive and Accessible Classroom for all Learners"

This course is designed to provide educators and support staff with the knowledge, skills, and strategies to support each individual learner on the autism spectrum, to create an inclusive classroom, and to promote neuroinclusive education.

The course is certified by The CPD Certification Service (United Kingdom), with 6 CPD hours.

Sessions description: 2 Training Sessions (2 hours each) plus a Group Coaching Session (2 hours) 1 week after the training sessions.

We will cover what autism is and its common characteristics, and we will look at the importance of working in a team (teachers, SENCO’s, parents, therapists) to make education accessible for all students. We will also discuss strategies to meet the needs of each student, particularly in the areas of sensory processing, communication, and social interaction.

The outcomes of this course are to:

• Provide educators and support staff with a deeper understanding of autism and its common characteristics.

• Highlight the importance of teamwork in making education accessible for all students.

• Discuss practical strategies to meet the needs of each student, particularly in the areas of sensory processing, communication, and social interaction.

  • Cultivating Character Strengths for Resilience
  • Identify and nurture the three most impactful character strengths proven to prevent and alleviate burnout. Develop a personalized plan to integrate these strengths into your daily life.
  • Assessing Your Burnout Proneness
  • Evaluate your susceptibility to burnout through an examination of your personality, habits, and current life circumstances. Gain valuable insights into factors that may contribute to your vulnerability.
Part III:
  • Practices for Prevention and Recovery
  • Explore practices for both preventing and recovering from burnout situations. Equip yourself with a toolkit of strategies to navigate the challenges and emerge stronger.
