COHESIVE PARENT SUPPORT GROUP

Bridging the Gap began as a heartfelt community initiative creating safe, interactive spaces for parents of children on the autism spectrum, those with learning disabilities, and others with sensory differences. What made it unique was its inclusive approach — encouraging parents to invite friends or community members with limited understanding of special needs This simple act helped open minds, grow empathy, and begin meaningful conversations that built bridges of understanding.
As BtG evolved, so did its reach. Today, Bridging the Gap extends beyond families, bringing together educators, professionals, and corporate leaders who share a commitment to neuroinclusion.

Our mission is to break down stereotypes, amplify lived experiences, and promote collaboration across sectors to create communities — and workplaces — that truly celebrate neurodiversity.

This year, BtG is proud to introduce a dedicated corporate inclusion platform, connecting local companies and leaders to discuss inclusive hiring practices, effective workplace support, and real success stories.

Through these conversations, we aim to inspire more organizations to see the value of neurodiverse talent and take tangible steps toward inclusive employment.

Together, we continue to ‘bridge the gap’— not just in understanding, but in opportunity, access, and shared humanity.
