Sessions description: 2 Training Sessions (2 hours each) plus a Group Coaching Session (2 hours) 1 week after the training sessions.
We will cover what autism is and its common characteristics, and we will look at the importance of working in a team (teachers, SENCO’s, parents, therapists) to make education accessible for all students. We will also discuss strategies to meet the needs of each student, particularly in the areas of sensory processing, communication, and social interaction.

Training Course "Gifted and Talented Education: Empowering parents and educators"
This course is designed to provide educators and parents with a comprehensive understanding of the characteristics, identification, and aptitudes of gifted and talented learners, as well as the challenges they may face throughout their learning journey. It aims to equip teachers and parents with the knowledge and skills necessary to support and nurture the unique abilities and needs of gifted learners in a school setting. This course combines theoretical frameworks with practical strategies that can be effectively implemented to create an optimal learning environment for gifted and talented students.

Workshop description: 4-hour Training (2 sessions, 2 hours each).
Facilitator: Assia Nait Kassi, a behavioral scientist and pedagogue, designed a preventive intervention for mental health in the UAE. She has extensive, global experience in organisations working in public health and education for disadvantaged communities.
By the end of the workshop learners will be able to:
- Distinguish between gifted and talented learners. This involves understanding the different identification processes used to ensure that these students are recognized and provided with appropriate support. Practical strategies can be implemented in both the classroom and at home to cater to their unique needs.
- Understand different identification processes for gifted students across educational systems and institutions. These processes may include multiple criteria, such as standardized tests, teacher recommendations, observations, portfolios of work, interviews, and assessments of creativity or problem-solving skills.
- Understand the characteristics of gifted learners for providing appropriate support. To address the needs of gifted learners, practical strategies can be implemented both in the classroom and at home. In the classroom, teachers can differentiate instruction by providing advanced content, acceleration, or enrichment activities. They can also encourage independent research projects, problem-solving tasks, and creative assignments to stimulate gifted students’ intellectual growth.
- Understand the nomination and assessment processes for identifying gifted students accurately. Educators play a vital role in recognizing potential candidates through ongoing observations and assessments. Teacher nominations based on their expertise and knowledge of students’ abilities are often an important starting point. Standardized tests may also be used to measure cognitive abilities or specific talents.

This training and coaching course focuses on Inclusive Policies and understanding the importance policies play when it comes to neuroinclusion at work.
The sessions cover in-depth understanding of what neurodiversity is, what a neuroinclusive work culture should look like, and why organizations need to focus on inclusive policies. The course provides a positive learning outcome as it spends time looking at the Neurodiversity paradigm vs the Medical paradigm, the strength-based approach to neuroinclusion and how by focusing on this we are bringing in a talent pool of individuals who are unique in understanding the world around them. This then leads onto the Universal Design Learning (UDL) which highlights ‘no one size fits all approach’ and how it is imperative to place accommodations and modification in the workplace.
We delve deeper into understanding this by redesigning a workplace and how through the lens of inclusion we can really harness a workplace for all. Training Workshop "Inclusive Leadership: Building Organic Organisations with IL"
Inclusion is considered one of the biggest reasons why employees leave their organisations. Research shows that there is a key need for Humane Value-Led Leadership to ensure psychological safety, productivity, retention and inclusion at work. Inclusive leaders need to build a compassionate culture in this VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complete, ambitious) business environment.
The workshop starts exploring the elements of leadership, culture and the VUCA world. Then we look into inclusion with a neurodiversity perspective and analyse Humane Value-Led Leadership. Finally, we explore an Action Plan linked to building empathy and impacting inclusive leadership, which focuses on reflecting on ownership, accountability and responsibility.

Training & Coaching Course "Building a Team of Leaders: A Coaching Approach to Communication"
The course is built with the focus on enhancing and enabling a communication approach with the support of coaching. Communication is a soft skill that is key to strengthen our relationship within communities. Effective communication is a support for family members, colleagues at the workplace and in our day-to-day life endeavours.
Emotions play a significant part in the way we communicate and connect with each other. Therefore, the course addresses Emotional Intelligence (EQ), effective communication, and a beneficial impact of managing one`s emotions.
